> About Sean Baggett
Hey! I'm Sean, and I build CLI tools that solve the annoying problems developers face daily.
You know those repetitive tasks that eat up 10 minutes of your day? The ones where you think "there has to be a better way"? That's what I build tools for.
I believe good developer tools should be:
→ Simple to use, even without reading docs
→ Free and open source for everyone
→ Solving real problems, not theoretical ones
→ Well-maintained and actively supported
My focus is on practical CLI utilities for Linux/Ubuntu that developers and sysadmins actually use. No fluff, no over-engineering—just tools that work.
Categories include:
Most of my tools are built with Shell scripting (Bash) because they need to be lightweight, portable, and easy to audit. Simple problems deserve simple solutions.
I'm not trying to build the next viral startup or reinvent the wheel. I'm just making tools that I wish existed when I ran into these problems myself.
If these tools save you time, that's awesome. If they help you work more efficiently, even better. If you want to support the work, I have a GitHub Sponsors set up, but there's no pressure—the tools are free either way.
Open source is about sharing knowledge and making everyone's life easier. That's the vibe here.
Want to contribute? Found a bug? Have a feature request? I'm always open to:
→ Pull requests and code contributions
→ Bug reports and feature suggestions
→ Documentation improvements
→ Spreading the word about these tools
→ Sponsoring development (if you're able)
